Now that we’ve crossed the finish line on that “naughty or nice” stuff, let’s talk about New Year’s! New goals, new you, and new cocktail recipes from Elliot Clark, the Apartment Bartender! If you’re sweating your sugar intake this holiday season, you could do what Clark tells everyone to do and #earnyourbooze with a New Year’s Eve HIIT workout, or you could swap CORE Organic (um yes, less than 1 gram of sugar per serving!) for your cocktail mixers. We prefer the latter, but let’s be real, you’ll probably do both.
Once again, we’ve teamed up with Clark to serve up CORE Organic cocktails that are not only great for New Years Eve, but the rest of the winter months to come. Have a “cheat day” on us!
Pomegranate Acai Hot Toddy
1.5 Dark Rum
6-8 ounces of Pomegranate Blueberry Acai Core Organic
1/4 oz fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz honey (optional)
Combine all ingredients into a small to medium saucepan, except for the dark rum. Heat on low until warm. Pour the dark rum into a mug, and top with the warmed up drink. Garnish with a lemon wheel.
Wild Blueberry French 75
1.5 oz Gin (or Vodka)
1.5 oz Wild Blueberry Core Organic
1/2 oz Fresh lemon juice
1/4 oz Blueberry syrup
Top with Brut Champagne
Combine all ingredients except for the champagne into a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake to chill. Strain into a champagne flute and top with Brut champagne. Garnish with fresh blueberries.
